Sunifiram Overview

Sunifiram is a relatively new product in the family of nootropic supplements that have shown very promising initial results. It falls into the ampakine category of nootropics, and some reviews have suggested it works along the similar lines of Piracetam but are 1000 times more potent at the same dosage. From what we know so far, the benefits far outshine the negatives.

This substance has shown highly effective results in regards to boosting memory function as well as attention span, alertness, learning, and decision-making. A lot of initial user experiences and reviews suggest that this supplement might just become one of the most popular nootropics for improving concentration and boosting overall mental wellness.

How does Sunifiram work?

Even though this substance is a derivative of piracetam, its chemical composition is different from racetams and is classed as a piperazine alkaloid. It is known to work in two ways – as an ampakine responsible for stimulating glutamine receptor activity and as a cholinergic that increases acetylcholine production and release.

Even though the precise mechanisms of this substance are not entirely understood, its primary action can be attributed to it to belonging to the ampakine category through which it stimulates the glutamate receptor of the brain. As an Acetylcholine, it works on aspects of cognition, learning speed and ability, improving memory, etc.

Benefits of Sunifiram

This supplement works quite similarly to other racetams by stimulating most of the same receptors, just in different ways. The primary effect of ingesting Sunifiram is in regards to the stimulation of the AMPA receptors. The observable benefits of taking the supplement are the following:

Improved memory and learning: This supplement has been proven to be an effective nootropic that delivers measurable improvements in memory retention, the speed of learning, and memory recall. Studies on animals showed that this supplement is not only useful for enhancing performance in learning tasks, but also for reversing chemically induced amnesia.

Improved focus: The users of Sunifiram frequently report that it has made them better in concentration. Animal studies have also shown an increased propensity to tackle and complete mental tasks without experiencing fatigue. This could be due to the fact that the supplement causes the release of acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter, associated with cognitive ability.

Depression and anxiety manager: Some users have also suggested that this substance has worked as a stress reliever and antidepressant for them. While there are no animal studies available to back up this claim, it could be somewhat true because as an ampakine it can interact with glutamatergic AMPA receptors and work as a mild stimulant.

Energy boosters and better sex drive: Many users have also reported that the supplement gives them more energy and achieve a similarly happier outlook on life. Also, a significant percentage of Sunifiram users have reported an increase in their sex drive, even though the effect hasn’t appeared to be universal and backed by animal studies.

Dosage Recommendations…

Sunifiram requires a dose that is much smaller than racetams as it is highly effective. Based on a combination of animal studies and user reports, the best dosage would be around 5 to 10 mg taken three times every day. This is the maximum number of time one can take the supplement for it to be both safe and efficient.

It’s likely that you will see positive effects with Sunifiram even from doses that are as small as 4 mg. A dosage of 10 mg will likely give you an effect similar to Adderall without any toxicity buildup or negative side-effects. However, you should decrease the dosage if symptoms such as excessive perspiration and increased body temperature become the norm.

The best way would be to begin with half a dose of 3 mg for the first week or so and then increase the dosage if it feels necessary and comfortable.  While it’s not clear if a higher dosage is better, it’s always wise to start out small and increase it gradually if necessary.

Possible Side Effects…

Lucky, no side-effects related to this supplement has been reported so far. But it’s important that you remember that no clinical trials or human studies have yet been completed. However, some information gathered from animal studies suggests that it is safe even beyond regular dosages.

User reported side effects include temporary uses like an increase in perspiration, increase in body temperature, headache, salivation, nasal stuffiness, and insomnia in very few cases.
